Are hair analyses useful for heavy metals?
Hair analyses can provide information in certain specialized questions, but they are prone to external contamination and are not suitable for every clinical question.
For many relevant heavy metals, blood or urine tests are better standardized. The appropriate method should always be chosen according to the specific diagnostic question.
Can environmental exposures cause fatigue or brain fog?
